MGC students won all three prizes in Taluk Hospital Siddapur's essay competition on AIDS awareness and prevention.
Taluk Hospital Siddapur organised an essay competition on “Awareness of AIDS disease and its prevention”. Seven students from the college took part, and their essays were evaluated by the hospital.
All three prizes went to MGC students: Prateeksha Dodmane of B.A. III won the first prize, Nirmala Madival of B.A. III the second and Deepika Naik of B.A. III the third.
The winners received cash prizes of Rs. 600, 500 and 400 from Shri Jagadeesh Naik, Counsellor, Taluk Hospital Siddapur, who was the chief guest at the prize distribution on 24 March 2025. In his address he shared vital facts about AIDS and suggested measures to prevent it.
